Replacement Headlights Lenses



Sometimes when you find that your headlights are not as bright as they should or can be you might take a look at the headlight lenses. With all of the driving a person does in all sorts of conditions it may be that the headlight lens has become dull and scratched.
Of course it may be that you need to replace the light bulb in the headlight assembly if it is a composite headlight assembly and you would need to change that bulb instead of the replacement headlights assembly. But you can make the lens look like new with a little work.
Lens Restoration Kit
Replacement headlights can cost a lot of money so if you can clean the lenses you will be money ahead. At an auto accessories store or website who will need to purchase a headlight lens restoration kit which doesn’t cost a lot of money. In it will be different grits of sandpaper, a polishing pad and some rubbing compound.
Cleaning the Lens
Use the different grits of sandpaper and very carefully sand the lens cover to remove scratches, it will look frosted. Wash and use polishing pad to polish and you may avoid buying replacement headlights.
